Which glass for an entrance door: matt, white, Delta 2 or Stopsol. Your own unit works too. The glazing goes into the panel during production, to your choice.
The glazing in a panel settles two questions at once: how much light reaches the hallway and how much of the hallway the street can see. We offer four kinds, and if you have a preferred unit we will fit yours.
Matt — lets the light through, stops the view. The usual choice when the hallway faces the street directly.
Clear — transparent, maximum light. For doors opening onto an enclosed yard or terrace.
Delta 2 — patterned glass with a pronounced relief. It scatters the light, hides the view completely and reads as decoration from outside.
Stopsol — with a reflective coating. It bounces back both sun and sightlines, which suits a south-facing door.
The glazing is built into the panel during production, not fitted afterwards. If you want something specific — low-e, four-season, argon-filled or with a black spacer — describe it in the enquiry and we will fit it.
