Pick the colour against the facade and the frames. Contrast turns the entrance into an accent; tone-on-tone calms it down. Both are right — as long as it is a choice, not an accident.
South-facing and strong UV: HPL or stainless. Damp and frequent wet cleaning: PVC or stainless. The material has to answer to the location, not only to taste.
